B. QR Drop Box (Owner Login Required)

Temporary document drop system specifically designed for form-filling shops, cyber cafés, and offices.

• Owner authentication required
• Customer uploads are temporary
• Files auto-delete after download or 24 hours maximum

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Free PDF Tools

• Files processed locally in your browser
• No uploads to our servers
• No tracking cookies
• No analytics on your files
• No file content analysis

2.2 Advertising & Cookies

We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings .

2.2 QR Drop Box

Owner Data (When You Create an Account):

• Name
• Email address
• Shop/Business name
• Encrypted password (bcrypt hashed)
• Login timestamps

Uploaded Files (Temporary):

• File name and type
• File size
• Upload timestamp
• Hashed IP address (for security, not tracking)

We DO NOT collect:

• Customer personal information
• File contents (not analyzed or indexed)
• Browsing history
• Location data beyond IP address
• Social media connections

3. How We Use Your Data

Owner Account Data:

• To provide QR Drop Box service
• To send service-related emails (password reset, plan expiry)
• To prevent abuse and fraud

Uploaded Files:

• Stored temporarily in secure cloud storage
• Accessible only by the session owner
• Automatically deleted after download, session expiry, or 24 hours (whichever comes first)

4. Data Storage & Security

Storage Location: India-based servers (AWS Mumbai / Google Cloud Delhi)

Encryption:

• Files encrypted at rest (AES-256)
• HTTPS/TLS for all data in transit
• Passwords hashed with bcrypt (cost factor 10+)
• Session tokens use JWT with secure signing

Access Control:

• Owner-only file access (JWT authentication)
• No staff access to customer files
• Regular security audits
• Automated intrusion detection

5. Data Retention

Free PDF Tools: No data retained (everything stays in your browser)

QR Drop Box:

• Uploaded files: Auto-delete after download or session expiry
• Maximum retention: 24 hours (absolute limit)
• Owner account data: Retained while account is active
• Deleted accounts: Data purged within 30 days

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data
• Delete your account and all associated files
• Export your activity logs
• Opt-out from service emails (except security notifications)
• Request correction of inaccurate data

EasyPDFTool is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Data Breach Protocol

In the unlikely event of a data breach:

• We will report to Indian CERT-In as required
• We will publish a public incident report
• We will offer free credit monitoring if applicable
